2016 State Conference Wrap-Up

Goshen College proved to be a perfect venue for one of the most enlightening IMTA State Conferences yet!  Our heartfelt thanks to Beverly Lapp, Matthew Hill, Juliana Lockman, and Paula Laskowski (along with the entire staff of Goshen College!) for planning such a lively event.

The schedule was packed with diverse sessions, and proved to deliver something for everyone!  The wealth of research and ideas presented by colleagues from Indiana and surrounding areas was top notch.
Our special thanks to Jorge Muniz (2016 Commissioned Composer), Karen Zorn (featured speaker), and Christopher Taylor (guest artist), for providing us with particularly inspiring moments of the highest merit.

Our heartfelt sympathies to long-time board member and past President Dr. Lori Rhoden (Professor of Music Performance at Ball State) on the passing of her father.

Margaret, although not present, was awarded for 50-years of membership with MTNA/IMTA this past fall at the state conference in Goshen.
